VGL is a leader in animal genetic research. We support several research groups including Equine Genetics, Canine Genetics, Feline Genetics, Wildlife Genetics and Population Health, and the Canid Diversity and Conservation Project. VGL research support covers domestic species, natural wildlife, and colony-maintained primates.
